In 2023, as the world came out of pandemic restrictions in full, organisations dealt with workforces adjusting to changed office environments and mental health deteriorated across most populations, the focus of individuals, organisations and governments has turned to wellbeing.  For local governments, cushioned from some of the pressures facing other sectors but at the forefront of other challenges, wellbeing considerations encompass both employees and the wider community.

The 2023 Local Government Conference, Wellbeing, will unpick some of the challenges facing Queensland local governments.  It will offer opportunity to discuss successful approaches, share lessons learned along the way, including by other organisations and tiers of government, and to gain perspective on your workforces and communities.

As always, the Local Government Conference is a time to debrief, share, gain support from, and in turn support, colleagues, learn and step back from the day-to-day to consider the strategic whole.  In beautiful Caloundra, the 2023 Wellbeing conference is not to be missed.

Delegate Programme - a printed programme will be made available to conference attendees at the registration desk in the Foyer of the Events Centre.  Delegate information (venues, times, dress code etc.) is available here.  A snapshot of the final programme is here.
