SUPPORTING THE PROFESSIONALS SHAPING QUEENSLAND COMMUNITIES

Young Officers Network

This Network aims to support under 35 local government officers by providing a space to connect with peers, build professional relationships and share experiences while navigating their careers within the local government sector.

The Network provides opportunities to connect with colleagues from across Queensland councils, collaborate on ideas and initiatives, share resources and knowledge, and learn from the experiences of others. It aims to foster a strong sense of connection and belonging within the local government sector while supporting the development of the next generation of local government leaders.

The Network is relevant to young officers and emerging professionals across all areas of local government, including operational, technical, administration, professional, specialist, supervisory and management roles.

We trust that you derive value from the interactions and information shared via this forum.  Please feel free to offer topics or suggestions for future forums and webinars.

This group has been created to allow members of this village the opportunity to share information, upload documents and post topics for discussion. This group is private and only officers working in Queensland Local Governments will be accepted. We believe it will serve as a valuable extension of our existing exchange, as it is a great tool for both networking and cross council collaboration.
