YOUNG MANAGER OF THE YEAR AWARD FOR LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT EXCELLENCEAs part of LGMA's commitment to developing the next generation of leaders in local government, the Young Manager of the Year Award for Leadership and Management Excellence is awarded annually. The Award acknowledges and encourages leadership and management excellence and is presented to a young local government employee who has made an outstanding contribution to the positive growth of their council and community. The Award is open to Managers aged 35 years or younger, who are employed by a Queensland local government and are a LGMA member (if not already an LGMA member now, you may join to be eligible for Nomination. Membership must be paid prior to the submission close date). The 2025 Young Manager of the Year Award is open for nominations and will close on Wednesday 2 April at 3:00pm.
