Procurement Village

This Village aims to support local government officers responsible for procurement, purchasing, contracts and strategic sourcing within Queensland councils.

The Village provides a forum to share information, discuss best practice and practical approaches, receive updates on legislation and council procurement requirements, and explore emerging issues affecting procurement and contract management. It recognises the different procurement environments and requirements across councils of different sizes and locations.

Relevant roles may include Procurement Managers and Officers, Strategic Sourcing Officers, Contract Managers, Contract Officers, Purchasing Officers, Category Managers, Supply Chain Officers and officers with responsibility for procurement governance and compliance.
