Animal Care Attendant

We’re seeking an experienced and caring Animal Care Attendant to support the day-to-day operation of Council’s Animal Care Facility. You’ll bring strong knowledge of pound operations, animal welfare legislation and safe animal handling practices, along with a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care to animals in Council’s custody. You’re confident working independently, can make sound and timely judgements regarding animal health and behaviour, and communicate effectively with colleagues, veterinarians, volunteers and the community. To be successful, you’ll hold a current C Class driver’s licence and a relevant qualification such as Certificate IV in Animal Control and Regulation, Animal Behaviour, or Vet Nursing, along with authorisation as a Microchip Implanter. We’re seeking an experienced and reliable plumber who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes with minimal supervision. You’ll bring strong technical skills across plumbing and irrigation water supply works, along with a safety‑focused approach and the physical capability to carry out site‑based tasks. You’ll hold a Certificate III in Plumbing/Drainage, a current driver licence (up to 3‑tonne capacity), and an endorsed Backflow certificate.       Casual Library Assistant

      Our Casual Library Assistants provide library users with customer service, support to utilise reader and reference services and basic assistance in the use of technology.       Irrigation Maintenance Worker
