| Environmental Health VillageThis Village aims to support local government officers working in environmental health functions within Queensland councils, including food safety and licensing, public health, environmental health regulation, air and water quality, nuisance management and disease prevention. The Village provides a local government-specific forum to share information, discuss operational challenges and best practice, and receive updates on legislation, policy and emerging issues affecting environmental health services. It complements specialist professional development and networking provided by Environmental Health Australia (Queensland). Relevant roles may include Environmental Health Officers, Senior and Principal Environmental Health Officers, Environmental Health Managers and Coordinators, Food Safety Officers and other officers undertaking environmental health and public health regulatory functions.
