Hi, just a head’s up to let you know the Privacy and RTI Act amendments passed last week.  Assent has not yet been gazetted but is expected this week. 

As previously discussed, this one has some significant implications for data retention (de-identification), breach reporting and contractor requirements amongst others.  (Just what we need a minute before Christmas!).
