This Village aims to connect women across the local government sector in Queensland, provide them with access to valuable insights, effective real-world strategies, and plenty of opportunities to network, collaborate and share ideas.  

Agenda: 

Alongside Fraser Coast Regional Council, LGMA is pleased to host the Women in Local Government Village Exchange Series in 2025.  To kick off the initial chat session, we would like to focus on - What are the challenges facing Women in Local Government?

Is it that you lack confidence or influence?

Do you need to consider your personal brand?

Do you have imposter syndrome?

Are you constantly struggling with juggling work and family life?

Or is it all of the above?

Join like-minded local government officers, hear from others from across different sectors, get guidance, share ideas and get motivated to make changes you have been longing to make.
