Good leaders come in different shapes and sizes, but they have one thing in common – they play to their strengths. In this session, Gallup will outline the strengths-based approach to leadership. By the end of the session, leaders will be able to describe:

• how a strengths-based approach improves engagement and performance
• the 7 expectations of leaders and how strengths can help leaders deliver on them
• practical strategies for being a strengths-based leader
• how to meet the four needs of followers

Presenters: Allan Watkinson - 

Allan will be joined by Holly McBride, Executive Manager People, Safety and Wellbeing at Fraser Coast Regional Council. Holly will share how Fraser Coast Regional Council has delivered better performance outcomes through strengths-based leadership.
