Webinar One – 16 May 2024

Dispelling myths about mountain biking!  This webinar will cover:

  • What is mountain biking and ways to manage it.
  • Operational models for councils.
  • Case studies for creating sustainable resilient trails.

Webinar Two – 23 May 2024

When trails mysteriously appear.  This webinar will cover:

  • The challenges unsanctioned trails present to councils and ways to manage them.
  • Dirt Jumps, ways to understand what they are and how to manage them - Council Case Study.
  • Considerations when deciding to commission or decommission unsanctioned trails.

Webinar Three – 30 May 2024

Telling compelling stories. The role of data. This webinar will cover:

  • Independent audits, what are they, why you do them, and how the data can be used.
  • Managing multiple users and stakeholder groups - Conservation / trail user Case Study.
  • Trail maintenance models, managing contractors, volunteers and providing suitable training.

Time: 10:00am - 11:15am

Cost: Entry from $330.00 (GST inclusive) per person for the three-part series - available to all Council Officers. 

Entry from $550.00 (GST inclusive) for two people to attend the three-part series - available to all Council Officers.

Entry from $110.00 (GST inclusive) for one person to attend one of the scheduled webinars within this series.

Entry from $220.00 (GST inclusive) for one person to attend two of the scheduled webinars within this series.
