Ignite Programme Brisbane 2023
The Ignite Programme has been designed to provide new or aspiring managers/supervisors/team leaders with the necessary skills to manage and lead themselves and their team. Through interactive workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions, this six (6) day programme provides the tools, insights and hands-on experience to take on the responsibility of leading a team with greater confidence.
There are six compulsory workshops. Workshops 1 and 2 form the Introductory Forum and then there are an additional four (4) workshops.
Dates: 22-23 February; 22 March; 27 April; 24 May; 14 June
Venue: George Williams Hotel Brisbane
Nomination Process:
Each participant in the Ignite Programme must have the endorsement and support of their direct line manager in order to take part in the programme. The participant must complete the online registration form and provide LGMA with your nominating manager's contact details. LGMA will then contact your manager directly to secure their endorsement. Registrations close on Friday 10 February 2023.
Programme Inclusions:
Facilitation - Six (6) Workshops from 08.30am-5.00pm; Venue, day catering and equipment hire; Workbooks and pre-reading materials; Two, one-on-one coaching sessions; 1 x night's accommodation and breakfast; Group dinner at the Introductory Forum and Celebratory Dinner on the final night of the programme.
Programme Exclusions:
This programme does not include travel expenses or additional accommodation requirements. Any additional costs incurred to what is outlined above are the responsibility of the participant and Council.
Programme Placement Notification and Payment Process:
Delegates will be provided with an invoice following the registration process and registrants will be officially notified the week commencing 13 February 2023 regarding their programme placement.
Venue and Accommodation:
The venue for the programme is the George Williams Hotel. We have secured a special rate for Ignite participants. Details on how to access this offer will be provided to participants following close of registrations.
LGMA will pay for one night of accommodation inc. breakfast plus host and pay for a welcome dinner on the first night of the Introductory Forum.
