People and Culture Village

This Village aims to support local government officers responsible for People and Culture functions within Queensland councils, including human resources, organisational development, workforce planning, employee relations, learning and development, and organisational capability.

The Village provides a forum to connect with colleagues across the sector, share information, resources and practical approaches, discuss emerging workforce challenges, and receive updates on legislation, policy and initiatives affecting council employees. It seeks to utilise the expertise and experience across the sector to support Queensland councils to provide quality employment opportunities, grow great people and build workplaces where people can thrive.

Relevant roles may include People and Culture Managers and Officers, Human Resources Managers and Advisors, Organisational Development Managers and Officers, Workforce Planning Officers, Employee Relations Officers, Workplace Relations Officers, Talent and Recruitment Officers, Wellbeing Officers, Learning and Development Officers and officers responsible for organisational capability and workforce strategy.
