Disaster Management Village Exchange

This Village aims to support local government officers working in disaster management, emergency management, disaster resilience, recovery and related functions within Queensland councils.

The Village provides a forum to connect with colleagues, share lessons learned and practical approaches, discuss preparedness and response arrangements, and receive updates on emerging issues, legislation, policy and funding relevant to local government disaster management.

Relevant roles may include Disaster Management Officers and Coordinators, Emergency Management Officers, Disaster Resilience Officers, Recovery Officers, Local Disaster Management Group support staff and council officers with operational responsibilities during disaster events.
